Description

Rooftop Heron, Chepstow.

" A good view from up here "............. Very surprised to see this heron land on the roof of a nearby house. A long way from the river but maybe checking out a fish pond ? The owner of the nearby pond told me later that he had lost most of his fish !

An unusual and attractive backdrop for this heron picture, Patrick, but as you say, his beady eye must have detected a fishy target within range.
