Over Hacking Woods

Autumn through Over Hacking Woods at Hurst Green along the River Hodder, in Lancashire ... this stone cross was very unexpected it was just there in the middle of the woods !!

Maybe somebody's buried there, Sue. Or perhaps someone died there and the family set up a little shrine. Lovely photo.
