In the 1930s, it hosted such illustrious guests as T. S. Eliot, who wrote an ode to Charingworth. Its old-world charm has been preserved during modernisation and each spacious room is furnished with antiques and English fabrics. The hotel boasts three luxurious suites and two of the period rooms have four-poster beds. Bathrooms are individually appointed with fluffy bathrobes and toiletries supplied.
