About Leigh Sinton

Leigh Sinton is a pleasant long sprawling Worcestershire village that is the midst of a great agriculture and fruit growing area. It is a peaceful place of leafy lanes dotted here and there with black and white timber-framed cottages and lofty farmhouses. Hidden deep in Leigh is Leigh Court Barn. Of truly magnificent proportions, this barn was built for the monks of Pershore Abbey. It dates 14th-century and is the largest of it's kind in Britain. The barn is open to the public and for sheer medieval splendour, is hard to beat.

Leigh Sinton, is close to Great Malvern which has some fine buildings as well as the beautiful hills and, is not far from the birthplace of Sir Edward Elgar and the Elgar Museum at Broadheath.
