About Gardeners / Hall Farm Cottages
Gardeners Cottage is part of Hall Farm Cottages - these four delightful cottages are situated in the attractive village of Sedgeberrow, on the fringe of the Cotswolds near Evesham. All four cottages can be booked together totalling 18 guests plus cots. The cottages are rated as 4* by Visit England (formerly English Tourist Board) and therefore reach very high standards.
A range of 18th century barns at Hall Farm have been sympathetically converted and modernised to meet today’s high standards but retain a wealth of old beams and original features. Much of the furniture is antique and blends in completely with the cottage atmosphere. All the cottages have been created to provide peace and tranquillity in a rural environment, hence all the sitting rooms and bedrooms overlook the gardens.
In the Heart of England, the cottages are an ideal place from which to explore the Cotswolds, stately homes, Shakespeare’s birthplace and surrounding areas, or merely relax in the 1-acre garden, swim in the private pool or try a spot of fishing along the riverbank! Easily accessible from just about anywhere - 30 miles from Birmingham, 50miles from Bristol and 100miles from London.
Sedgeberrow is a thriving village with a lovely pub serving home-cooked food; and a lovely church all within 200yds of the cottages. Sadly our village shop is curretnly closed but we hope it will open again this year.
Gardeners Cottage sleeps up to 5 guests plus cot in two bedrooms and is very spacious. The ground floor accommodation opens into a hallway with coat-hooks, open-plan sitting room with dining area and kitchen separated with a breakfast bar, french doors open directly onto the shared garden - the kitchen is spacious, fully equipped and great for those who like cooking. The first floor has two ensuite bedrooms - a large double room with additional single bed and a twin room; both bathrooms have baths with shower-over and separate basin areas.
The main fenced garden has a swing/slide set and a 12’ trampoline (complete with safety net), tables and chairs; whilst the extended garden has a large lawn (great for running around and kicking balls), and an orchard with fruit trees and chickens – help yourself to apples!
Children are extremely welcome and we will always try to provide you with as many items as possible from travel cot to toys…. Just ask!
In order to ensure your holiday is just that – a holiday – whether you plan on visiting all the great local restaurants or eating-in, our aim is to make sure that you “Just Need Food”. There’s nothing worse than having to buy absolutely everything, so condiments, cleaning things, cling-film etc is available for you.
On your arrival you can expect a warm welcome with a few goodies and a bottle of wine beckoning..
