Description

The Rattlebone Inn, Sherston, Wiltshire 2015

Grade 2 listed. c17th century with c19th alterations. Named after John Rattlebone, a local hero that fought for the Saxon King Edmund Ironside against Canute, King of the Danes, at the battle of Sherston in 1016.
