Salisbury - River Nadder

In Salisbury, where the River Nadder meets the river Avon there is a wonderful piece of wetland; The Harnhan Water Meadows. You can cross the meadows following the Town Path. From here you can see lots of birds, plants and trees. The horizon is dominated by the majestic Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire May 2010

The scene looks roughly similar to Constable's 1823 painting of Salisbury Cathedral which shows 2 cows drinking from the river.
