A must visit, Old Sarum (old Salisbury) is a huge Iron Age hillfort which was started around 500BC and later occupied by the Romans, the Saxons and the Normans. Lots of history to be found here, with graphic panels throughout the site to help you learn all about this important and truly historic place.
