Snow on Gorse

The old saying is "When the gorse is in bloom, kissing is in season". So I was glad to see it in flower at this cold, dreary time of year

A beautiful picture. And it reminded me of the saying straight away! As my mother put it: "Kissing's out of favour when the gorse is not in bloom".
