The Gardeners Arms Sompting

The Gardners Arms in Sompting Village, West Sussex. This is a lovely pub with great food served from an attatched pullmans railway carriage. A real talking point while you dine.

what gets me is this place was in all the papers over the complaints of a train carriage being added to it's side, build into the pub. After a ong fight everyone was happy with alterations. Now you ask & no one remembers it's their. It is so different & worth the visit to have a meal in such a setting.I have to pass this on way home from work & it is so hard with the wonderful smell of really great food coming out on to the road.
