About Littlehampton
Littlehampton is a pleasant holiday resort that offers miles of golden sands for sunbathing, or for children to have a fine time building sand castles!
This place was once an ancient port on the mouth of the River Arun. It is also known for being Henry VIII's royal dockyard. There is a lively Marina from where boat trips may be booked and you can enjoy a spot of fishing from the river banks. There are pleasant walks through the town and a short walk out of the town leads you to the Sussex Downs.
Apart from it's glorious beaches, the town offers excellent shopping facilities and a museum that tells some of the history of the town.
