Description

A picture of Edgbaston

This photograph, along with my other photograph of the Pump House, in Edgbaston, Birmingham, are thought to be the inspiration behind J. R. R. Tolkien's 'Two Towers'. They are both only about 200 metres apart and togther make a distinctive landmark. Tolkien had his boyhood home in the area.
