Description

Kingsbury Hall

They are converting this place into apartments, nine in all but converting barns around it and erecting 13 new dwellings? I think its sad really as its a really peaceful place. I think its in danger of becoming lost in all the houses etc... I suppose its better than watching it fall down but I still feel a little sadness!! Its got a fantastic history and even a hidden tunnel!!

That is so sad Jason. The same happens round here all the time. We are still fighting for Saltwells House. Glad to captured it for posterity!

How very dramatic. Lovely. Shame it's being converted!

Nobody has flats anymore. This image is dramatic, using monochrome to the full. The almost menacing use of light suits the conversion of the fine house. Wonderful picture Jason.

I've been searching for a picture of Kingsbury Hall for some time now. Some sketchy details from my father says that my family once live here. I had planned a trip in October to check it out. I am so sad to think that it had gone to ruins and has obviously been made into apartments by now. Thank you for such a soulful image. If you have any more, please publish them.
