A picture of Newcastle upon Tyne

Tyne Bridge Completed in 1928 and of the same design as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Tyne Bridge is one of the Englands most famous landmarks. It was built by the same company that built the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge but was finished earlier. A very functional bridge, the Tyne Bridge makes for an awsome sight and is best viewed from the Quayside at night when its illuminated. You can view the bridge from many of the Quaysides restaurants and bars where you can sit and enjoy the spectacular sight
