Pictures of Virginia Water Lake
About Virginia Water Lake
Originally little more than a stream, Virginia Water Lake was begun in 1746 by William, Duke of Cumberland who was then Ranger of Windsor Park, which the lake is part of. Recently the lake has been used by the crews for the Harry Potter films for lakeside scenes. The local village 'Virginia Water' takes its name from the lake.
