Description

Boss Robin

An imposing chap this time rather than the classic robin poses but I think this time he looks a bit intimidating - probably getting fed up with that bloke with the camera. The shot was just one of quite a few I managed to get that afternoon.

The 'intimidating' look suits this image very well Vince. They can be very vicious little birds when they want to be, far from the nice friendly image that most people have of them.

It's a great shot Vince, but he does look as though he's going to have a go at you. I agree with Dave about them being vicious little birds.

Never experienced their vicious nature (thankfully - but can imagine it) but he does portray something to be reckoned with! Combined with the last shot (house in the eye) you really have captured the personality of this brilliant little british bird. Thanks for sharing it.

If you type this into Google search DAILY MAIL COLIN TUDGE ROBINS with any luck the first item, a Daily Mail article, gives a very good indication as to the vicious and violent nature of this beautiful little bird which makes this image from Vince even more captivating...
