How old is the town sign with the two figures on it? Does anyone have historical photos of Beccles? I will come and visit but am currently in Wigan! I am writing a novel in which a group visit Beccles on the train from Yarmouth in the 1860s. I know there was a train running through Belton and Aldeby and the line closed in 1959.
