Description

The Tomb of Sir Nicholas Burnell

Died in 1832 this is the tomb of Sir Nicholas Burnell who had taken his maternal surname rather than his paternal surname of de Handlo. This was a great surprise to come across this tomb as we did not know the tomb was here and Sir Nicholas Burnell is an ancestor of my wife and daughter and as you would imagine they were so pleased to find it here.
