Ugly White Lines in the Centre of a Conservation Area

This picture details the ridiculous state of affairs when a Parish Council decides that crowd control is required in a village of 1000 people and little traffic. The original white lines came complete with claymen (images of the burnt effigies inset) to indicate where villagers were supposed to walk.

What an absolute disgrace Terry. Pity they haven't got something better to do with their time, or spend our money on! I live in Oxford and know that area well - shame on you Parish Council! What about other poe members; have you got something similar to show us?
