Altar of the Requiem Chapel, Dorchester Abbey

The Requiem Chapel is a small chapel at the south side of the Abbey. In this picture, a simple wooden bier stands in front of the Altar. The Reredos is from the former Dorchester Missionary College. A stone carving of a 'Green Man' (an old religious symbol of regeneration) can be seen at the top right hand corner of the picture.
