About Glenn Mill

A rural water-powered corn mill on a tributary of the River Ock. The present building of local limestone and the working parts date from about 1800. Disused for 50 years, it has been repaired with care to conserve the atmosphere of a working mill. An Iron waterwheel powers the millstones and wholemeal flour ground from locally grown wheat is on sale. On view are artefacts related to mills and milling.
