About Netherton

The village of Netherton nestles in the wild countryside beneath the southern slopes of the Cheviot Hills on the fringe of the Northumberland National Park.

Noted for the beauty of the area, the village is also noted for close by Biddlestone RC Chapel which possibly dates from late in the 14th century and was probably built over the remains of an earlier Pele-Tower.

Surrounded by undulating countryside, the village lies within a county renowned for its heritage and history. It has stately homes, gardens and forests, as well as a magnificent coastline dotted with historic castles - all within easy driving distance.
