Pictures of Bamburgh![]() Submitted by James Carter(19th February 2009)Bamburgh Castle. This shot was taken in a dash to get to the beach before the sunset disappeared. I left my wife in the car and dashed down to the beach from the carpark with my camera and tripod. To my amazement there were about a dozen others with cameras and tripods all set-up to capture this moment! I had to jostle between them to get my tripod set-up also, and hoped I got the shot. This was a film camera so I could not see the result, as you can now with digital instantly! Bit too easy now!! However I still think if I ever get to Bamburgh again I could take a much better shot? Beautiful shot James!! Comment by Barbara Shoemaker(19th February 2009)It's gorgeous as is, James! Comment by lancashirelove(4th March 2009)great shot and worth the effort. Past photography was always a bit of a hit and miss affair. new digital photography allows you to see the result right away and retake before the subject dissapears, thus allowing anyone interested to get involved, not a bad thing I say. Comment by DEBBIE ADAMS(17th March 2009)This is a beautiful picture James you do wonderful work!! Comment by Julie Lee(10th October 2009)With enthusiasm as mentioned you probably shall. I had a Pentax for a decade, was loathe to change. Now I have a Panasonic digital (reccomended by Luton Camera Repair Services, experts in photography/equipment) Everyday using it is a revelation. Reflection in the shore is genius Add a comment...Please login to make a comment on this picture © 2001-2009 Pictures of England.com - All rights reserved - Terms & Conditions - Free Pictures |
