About Highgate House, A Sundial Group Venue 4 Star Guest Accommodation
Originally a 17th century coaching inn, Highgate has evolved as a dedicated conference centre over the past forty years. Highgate House is a venue moving with the times whilst still retaining its original character and charm. We have an extensive range of accommodation, meeting and leisure facilities all based in the tranquil Northamptonshire countryside. A short distance from Northampton, The Historic Althorp House and the M1, M6 and A14. The 5 beautiful dining rooms in our main house are spacious and elegant. Our main suite can seat up to 200 for a banquet. Each of our 98 en suite bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished to an excellent country house standard. Once the private home of the Chudley family, the rooms still enjoy a relaxed charm and feeling of home comfort. Because Highgate House is a dedicated venue for weddings and high quality private events, we ensure our guests enjoy the level of facilities and amenities they need to fully benefit from their stay. Please note that the hotel has no lift. Not all accommodation is in the 17th century building, most is in modern extensions across from the property.
