About Duddington
This is a gem of a village that is all gracious houses and cottages of stone, roofed with stone slates, that are spaciously interspersed around enchanting country lanes backed by mile after mile of glorious rich pasture and meadowland. The River Welland flows through here and forms the boundary between what was the old county of Rutland, now Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire. Here the river is spanned by an ancient, five arched, stone bridge and there are pleasant walks all along it's banks.
A short distance away is Harringworth Viaduct and Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre is naerby.
