About The Cottage Hotel

The Cottage has been awarded 3 diamonds by the Tourist Board, all the rooms and guests areas are completely NON SMOKING It is about a 10- minute walk north of York Minster, comprising of two refurbished and extended Victorian cottages overlooking the village green of Clifton. The hotel offers cosy, small bedrooms (all Non Smoking) with simple furnishings. Three rooms have four- poster beds. All en suite. Some 400-year-old timbers rescued from the demolition of a medieval building in one of the city's historic streets (Micklegate) grace the restaurant and bar. There is a small but limited car park (locked daily at 10pm). Instant check out. We do not take group bookings except week school parties. Please note that check-in is from 2pm to 9pm only (arrivals not accepted after 9pm).
