The hotel offers cosy, small bedrooms (all Non Smoking) with simple furnishings. Three rooms have four- poster beds. All en suite. Some 400-year-old timbers rescued from the demolition of a medieval building in one of the city's historic streets (Micklegate) grace the restaurant and bar. Since York now has a wealth of good eating establishments and food outlets, the hotel is currently providing b&b facilities. We have an early evening bar for residents. There is a small but limited car park (locked daily at 10pm). Instant check out. We do not take group bookings except week school parties. Please note that check-in is from 2pm to 9pm only (arrivals not accepted after 9pm).
