About Hawtree Cottage

'Special Offers' - please contact us direct to check availability. We are sometimes able to offer a further discount for 2 person occupancy.
Hawtree Cottage is a spacious, fully detached, single storey property in the pretty village of Little Ouseburn surrounded by open countryside. The cottage enjoys a lovely quiet location, approached by a private gravelled drive.
Little Ouseburn is ideally placed for exploring the historic City of York where you can walk the City walls, see the beautiful Minster Cathedral, tour the National Railway Museum (free) and have a proper 'tea' at the famous Betty's restaurant. The cottage is equally well placed for a visit to the elegant spa town of Harrogate. The North Yorks Moors and Dales are within easy reach and the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey is just outside nearby Ripon.
Hawtree Cottage has been 4 star rated, is very well equipped, centrally heated and has its own private parking next to the cottage. There is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, with scope to accomodate another guest in the large lounge in case of need.
The garden is totally secluded and faces South over the owners 4 acre mown paddock which is also accessible for guests.
There is a pub in the village, a golf course two miles and a great choice of lovely walks. Our 'Guest Guide' provides details of all our favourite pubs and restaurants and suggestions for visiting other places of interest. We are usually on hand to help and advise if required.
Please note: There is an additional charge of £100 per week for a fifth occupant. See below for recommended towns and attractions near Hawtree Cottage.
