Low Fold Cottage is one of a handful of cottages on a small, private cul-de-sac in the picturesque village of Langcliffe, near the market town of Settle. The comfortable, attractive accommodation extends over three floors. Twin and single rooms are located on the first floor, with the bathroom and shower. The spacious master bedroom on the second floor has magnificent hill views; with a TV/DVD player it can also serve as an additional sitting room. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, with an excellent range of crockery and electrical appliances, including washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Children of all ages are especially welcome and a selection of books, games and DVDs is provided for all ages. A cot and high chair are available upon request. The enclosed rear garden area has a shed for storage of bicycles, as well as garden furniture and a small barbecue. Please note, there is no lawn. Well-behaved dogs are permitted by prior arrangement.
An excellent selection of walks is available direct from the cottage and a variety of sporting activities is available locally: swimming, fishing, golf, horse-riding, tennis, caving, mountain biking. Equipment for many sports can be hired locally in Settle. Why not enjoy a day out on the famous Settle-Carlisle railway? You can break the journey with a visit to Appleby or even take the train to one of the many stations along the route then walk back to Settle. You will find there is a wide choice of walks to suit a range of ages and abilities.
