The generous accommodation has been renovated and decorated with meticulous attention to detail, mixing contemporary style with Victorian period features.
The large bedroom has a kingsize, carved mahogany four-poster bed and a Jacuzzi whirlpool bath for one or two. There’s also a swivel-mounted 42” HDTV with blu-ray/DVD/USB media player, hairdryer and alarm clock, plus hotel-grade Egyptian cotton sheets and plenty of towels provided.
The well-appointed sitting-room also enjoys solid-oak flooring, topped by a striking designer rug. It, too, has a 42” HDTV with blu-ray/DVD/USB media player. There’s a selection of books, games and DVDs, and free wifi connectivity throughout.
Black-glass splashbacks complement African granite surfaces in the well-equipped designer kitchen-diner, which includes a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer for guests’ convenience.
There’s also a wetroom with rainfall shower, and a bright, south-facing sunroom. Here, you you can sit and listen to the DAB radio or your iPod. It’s so peaceful here you’ll forget you’re in the heart of a bustling city as you gaze on your enclosed, private garden, with wrought-iron furniture.
