Description

Bolton Castle, North Yorkshire

14th Century Castle located near Wensleydale. The Castle was built between 1378 and 1399 by Richard le Scrope. First Baron Scrope of Bolton and Chancellor of England. The Castle was damaged during the English Civil War.
