About Toft Monks

This is a village whose charm is equalled by its quaint name. It is ideally situated close to the beautiful Norfolk Broads in a picturesque region famed for its great pubs, restaurants and attractive shops in pretty market towns.

Close-by, there are pleasant water-meadows bordering the fleeting waters of the River Waveney, here among fertile grasses cattle and sheep graze contentedly. This is the perfect place to spend a few days whilst exploring the rich Norfolk Heritage Coast, take in Snape with its rustic Maltings, or Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, both of these resorts have fantastic facilities for holiday makers. Activities in the area include golf, horse-riding, theme-parks, beautiful beaches, and when you tire of sea and sand why not visit one of the regions historic homes.

The rivers in the area offer plenty of opportunities for boat trips, and on the coast sea fishing trips can be arranged as well as pleasure trips to explore the beautiful English coastline from the sea.

In the vast Norfolk skies you can often watch geese or any of the numerous wildfowl to whom the area is home, these creatures make a dazzling sight flying against soft pinky clouds and a slowly setting sun.
