Description

Magical Mystery tour bus outside "Mendips" Liverpool.

Caught the tour bus outside the childhood home of John Lennon. The tour takes a route encompassing places with Beatle links, including Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, and the old homes of the Fab Four.

It comes as a surprise to many people that John Lennon grew up in such a 'nice' middle-class area of Liverpool. I think he must have worked on his image and accent to give the impression of coming from a more humble and grittier background, as many other artists are wont to do. Good record shot.
