Description

Red guitar, Wonderful Land, Liverpool.

A friend had told me about the blind guitarist who often performs in Church Street Liverpool, filling this busy shopping area with silky sounds reminiscent of Hank Marvin. By chance, I managed to capture a quick shot of the musician in full flow stroking the strings causing a delightful rendition of Wonderful Land. The iconic red of this Fender Stratocaster lookalike made me decide to do a mono conversion, just leaving the red of the guitar to “speak” for itself.

Another appealing street shot; the 'popping' makes a real feature of the red 'Fender'.
