Description

Red and Blue. Liverpool.

I just liked the vivid blue winter sky behind the red of this new building built very close to the old Liverpool Stadium, now long demolished. Modern buildings are often quite ugly, but as time passes some become much loved. The Royal Liver Building in Liverpool is an example of a structure that was considered by many to be in bad taste when first erected. Now it's iconic.

Agreed, the angles,the colour contrast and also the plane and vapour trail all make a super shot.
