Description

Atlantic Tower, Liverpool.

The Atlantic Tower stands over the dock exit of the Queensway Mersey Tunnel. It stands out in stark contrast to all the buildings around it, or did until many new high buildings sprouted up,causing much comment. It still looks very striking but splits opinion. Picture taken 9th March 2014.

This is an interesting shot where the repetitive geometry is somewhat unsettling. It would be interesting to see how it would look with the convergence corrected to make it more mathematically abstract.
