About Stapleford
Stapleford is a village lying in the picturesque valley of the River Witham. It is close to where Lincolnshire borders with Nottinghamshire, making it an ideal destination from which to explore the best of both counties.
The waters of the Witham pass just east of the village as it meanders northwards and visitors will find pleasant spots for relaxing and viewing the wildlife of the river.
An interesting feature in Stapleford is All Saints Church, this is a typical "Fenland" church, it dates from the 17th century and is built from stone and russet-brick on the foundations of an earlier church.
Stapleford is ideally placed for visiting the Nottinghamshire Museum of Aircraft.
