Close to the town centre Old Nick Theatre in this lovely building is still very much in use. As Nell as told me in the comment below, I do apologise Nell.

The Old Nick Theatre is NOT closed. Gainsborough Theatre Company produce four full length plays there per season, and Mirror Image Youth Theatre produce two. The building also plays host to the Gainsborough Ghost Trail Experience, as well as involvement in a range of other community events.
