About Tilton on the Hill

This is a quiet rural village situated in one of the highest parts of the rolling Leicestershire countryside.

The crowning glory of the village is its beautiful parish church with its intricate needle spire. Sitting at over 700 feet above sea level, the church stands at the highest point with the village spread out beneath it. There are some pretty properties to be seen, these endorse that nothing changed much here for decades, later in the 20th century came a development of new houses but these are neatly laid out so as not to detract from the rural charm of Tilton and its church.
