A picture of Bold Venture Park

The War Memorial, in Bold Venture Park was unveiled on 24th September, 1921 by Mrs. Chadwick, a mother who lost three sons in the first world war. It was a wonderful tribute to the more than 1,200 of the townspeople who gave their lives during the conflict.
