About Dover Museum
Dover Museum is a local history and archaeology museum situated in the town centre of Dover, Britain's historic port town.
It is home to the Dover Bronze Age Boat, the world's oldest known seagoing boat and a fascinating archaeological discovery.
The museum is a modern museum telling the story of Dover and its important history. Apart from the amazing Bronze Age Boat you will find a fine archaeology collection, illustrated panels, models and replicas including a set of scale models showing the development of Dover from Roman times up until 1990. You will also find computer displays, games and interactives for all ages. A must visit when visiting this wonderful historic town
