The multi coloured sands of Alum Bay, IOW

The coloured sands of Alum bay have been collected by holiday visitors for many years and have even been sold commercialy in glass containers as ornaments and holiday gifts. They show up best in the bright evening sun just like the sand cliffs of Saudi Arabia do in the Red Sea.
