About The Granary

The Granary is a lovely 2 bedroom holiday cottage located in the grounds of Stalls Farm House. The Granary is a self caterting accomodation sleeping 4 persons (6 with the use of our sofa bed). It is ideally located, tucked away behind the village of Bartestree, just east of the cathedral city of Hereford.

The property is surrounded by scenic undulating Herefordshire countryside and enjoys commanding views towards Woolhope and Haugh Woods, to the south, and the Black Mountains to the west.
Bartestree village offers a number of village amenities including a shop, inn, village hall with playing fields and a regular bus service. Hereford just a short drive away provides a comprehensive range of shopping, educational and leisure facilities. Other commercial centres within easy reach include Ledbury, Malvern, Worcester and Birmingham. The area offers a wealth of sporting activities with many fine walks and riding along the River Lugg and through Haugh Woods. Pathways to some of these wallks are a litterally a stride away from the accomodation.
General information
There are 2 bedrooms, one double with a luxurious king size four poster bed and a large twin bedroom with single beds and plenty of room for a travel cot. The ground floor is open plan with large kitchen area, dining area and lounge area with wall mounted lcd tv with freeview & dvd player. There is a small private outside eating area for barbeques and alfresco dining to make the most of the wonderful views. Upon arrival guests could find a welcome hamper complete with everything you will need to begin your stay (extra cost). There are also fresh free range eggs provided from our chickens!
There is plenty of parking spaces for up to three vehicles.
Should you have guests, then there is additonal space for 2 other people through the provision of a sofa bed making a maximum sleeping arrangement of 6 people
