Pictures of Tewkesbury![]() Submitted by poe ©(30th October 2003)A picture of Tewkesbury The Old Abbey Mill The Abbey Mill is believed to date back to around the 12th century when the river Avon was diverted into the town to power the mill of the Benedictine Monastry. The present building is 18th Century and was in use until 1933. At the other end of the mill is the entrance to the peaceful Victoria Gardens where you can sit and relax next to the river.
