About Forget-me-not Cottage

Forget-me-not is a Victorian period cottage set in the heart of the Cotswolds, surrounded by rolling hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Ideally situated for complete relaxation, the cottage itself has been newly refurbished and the interior design capitalizes on the tranquil settings of the surrounding landscape.
Upon arriving at the property you are greeted with an established cottage garden featuring bistro garden table and chairs as well as a barbeque. An outbuilding enables storage and includes electrical outputs.
The cottage itself features a newly renovated lounge with original exposed beams and flagstone floor. A brand new two seated Lazy boy reclining leather sofa, a lounge chair and antique oak dining table with elm chairs keep in with the period of the cottage. This is complimented with state of the art technology not limited to a high definition flat screen TV, broadband internet access and a iPod dock. A wood burning stove adds to the rooms’ sumptuousness.
Proceeding into the kitchen one can observe the newly installed double gas oven, dishwasher, washer dryer and microwave. A modernized, well-equipped kitchen complemented with views overlooking the cottage garden, whilst again, sympathetic to the overall design of the cottage.
Upstairs, the bedroom is spacious featuring a king sized bed, an additional plasma screen TV, twin bedside cabinets, chest of draws and wardrobe. The scenic views of the countryside are second to none.
The bathroom, tiled throughout, features a double Mira shower, with a sink enclosed in a vanity unit and a lavatory.
Forget-me-not has been modernized with new technology but remains true to its original roots as a silk industry cottage built at the end of the nineteenth century. Furthermore it is located in the village of Blockley that boasts community run village stores, a coffee shop (with Wi-Fi) a post office and two pubs with restaurant facilities.
Easily accessible to London, Bristol, East midlands and Birmingham international airports with a railway station (Moreton-in-marsh) four miles away. Recommended taxi services are available on request.
For our guests we provide fresh flowers, milk and cake on a welcome tray. Also toiletries in the bathroom. All linen to include towels and fuel are included.
To summarize Forget-me-not cottage offers a home away from home experience with the peace and quiet for a once in lifetime experience .
Pets welcome at £10 per pet per stay payable directly to the owner prior to the holiday
