A 26 mile long stretch following the river Lee, the Lee Valley Park is made up of country parks, heritage sites, lake and riverside trails and nature reserves, including Walthamstow Marsh Nature Reserve which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and one of the last surviving examples of natural marshland in the London area.
