Some of the accommodation is located in the coach house at the rear of the hotel. The hotel is well known for the friendly, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere of its bar, restaurant and conservatory. The restaurant and adjacent bar are both non-smoking. The restaurant has achieved a reputation for providing some of the best food in the area in glorious surroundings. All tastes are catered for, thanks to the several different menus on offer, all of which feature a wide range of imaginative dishes, freshly prepared in the hotel's scrupulously clean award-winning kitchens. There is a table d'hote menu, an elaborate and yet modestly priced a la carte menu, an entirely separate vegetarian menu and for younger visitors a children's menu. The refreshing yellow, orange, gold and green colours with stylish and relaxing upholstered chairs add to the hotel's elegance. Featuring a mixture of round and square tables, the crisp white and yellow linen and the oak dressers all decorated with eclectic artifacts create an air of contemporary elegance. However, the hotel's restaurant is not expensive, hence its popularity with local residents and hotel guests alike. Although the restaurant can seat 85 people, it is divided into 3 separate areas, thereby creating a more intimate atmosphere. One section of the restaurant can be closed off for private parties, business luncheons and weddings, and in addition to all of the other menus, the hotel offers a wide range of specially designed lunch and dinner party menus and buffet menus.
