A picture of Epping Forest

It's in the twilight and early morning light that these Giants take on a life of their own. The ancient method of Tree management (Pollarding) has left us these huge beautiful mis-shapen forms. A fascinating and truly forgotten piece of England...just outside London at Epping Forest.
