Description

Spurn Point Beach & Lighthouse on the Yorkshire Coast

Spurn Point is the end of a sand spit that sticks out into the North Sea over 3 miles, taking it about half way across the Humber Estuary, from the East Yorkshire coast, The sand spit is typically about 50 yards wide and, at its end is a lifeboat station, but the lighthouse is no longer functional.
