About Spinnaker House

Spinnaker House is a delightful 3 bedroomed Victorian cottage, tastefully furnished, centrally heating and situated 5 minutes walk from Chesil Beach on Dorset's World Heritage Coast.
With a sunny, private garden, on-street parking right outside the house (unusual for Fortuneswell) and a secure means of storing bicycles and windsurfing gear, Spinnaker House makes a perfect base for year round active or relaxing holidays on this beautiful stretch of Dorset Coast. The house has free WIFI.
The large double-aspect and light sitting/dining room if fully carpeted, has shutters to the front and at the rear looks out to the garden. It has comfortable leather sofas, 32' TV with Freeview, DVD and DAB radio/CD/iPod dock; board game, jigsaws, CDs and DVDs also available. Dining table and chairs for 6 people or more plus high chair on request. Plenty of soft lighting for a relaxing evening.
Our modern and very well equipped, bright and spacious galley kitchen benefits from a double-oven Zanussi cooker, Bosch washing machine and dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and hand blender. Follow the back door from the kitchen down a couple of steps to the garden.
Upstairs is a very large seaside-themed bathroom with separate walk-in shower and bath with shower over, sink, toilet and plenty of hanging space and shelving.
Up two more steps to the three bedrooms:
Double, which looks out to the rear of the house, decorated in very soft pastel colours, with double wardrobe, large chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and table, wall mirror and bedside lights and hairdryer.
Twin room with shutters to the front with bedside table, chest of drawers, bedside lights and wall mirror. Large wardrobe shared with bunk room
Bunk room with adult-sized bunks and shutters to the front, chest of drawers, wall mirror and behind-bed lights and shelving. Wardrobe shared with twin room
Sunny garden with raised deck seating area that looks west so you can enjoy the sun setting over the sea. It has a table and chairs for six and barbeque.
Chesil Beach is only 5 minutes walk and 15 minutes to Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy. If you don't want to drive, the bus is only a few minutes away and this takes you the short ride to the Sailing Academy and on to Weymouth, or along the coast.
The area is delightful for all sort of outdoor activity including walking, cycling, sailing, windsurfing, kite-surfing and climbing, or simply watching the sun go down from the local pub.
